I'll be playing a few gigs during the weekend of the Jazz Festival here in Chicago, Aug 30-Sep 2. On Thursday Aug 30, I'll be playing with Dana Hall's quartet at the Velvet Lounge. On Saturday, Sep 1, I'll be playing with Dan Trudell's B3 Bombers featuring Clyde Stubblefield (of James Brown fame) on drums. And finally, I'm very excited about being asked to perform with Charlie Haden on Sunday Sept. 2. Check the itinerary page for details. Hope to see you there!

I've added a new section for students (or anyone interested for that matter) of some of my practice exercises that I use myself and assign to my students. They're in the "For Students" section of the website; feel free to take them for yourself. I plan to add material that I use for my students periodically, so check back often!

03/27/07 | STOJO is Back!
A new project that I'm doing with Doug Stone, STOJO, will make it's return on Monday April 30th at the Bad Dag Tavern in Chicago. The group is myself and Doug on Tenor, Kelly Sill on Bass and Tim Davis on Drums.

03/27/07 | CD in the works!
To satifsy the nagging question, "where can I buy your CD?" I'm working on one. After one recording session in the fall, we'll be going back into the studio late this spring to complete the recording. I hope to have it completed by the end of summer. It features all original compositions and some amazing playing by Ron Perrillo, Dennis Carroll, Dana Hall and Dave Miller. Stay tuned!
